Nathan Mee
Solicitor

Nathan is a solicitor in our Commercial Property Team and deals with non-contentious commercial property law, including property acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant arrangements,  secured lending and development projects.

Although Nathan qualified as a solicitor in December 2023, he has worked in law since 2012 where he joined a niche firm in Derby as an apprentice, then paralegal before completing his training and qualifying as a solicitor at a medium sized Leicester law firm. Nathan has navigated a variety of different types of transactions guiding clients with both a legal and commercial eye.

Away from the office, Nathan travels the country (and Europe!) following Nottingham Forest and enjoys spending time with his young family either in the Leicestershire countryside, or over the border in Scotland – preferably where there is a good pub!

Alan Simpson, Director of Law, is based in our Leicester office and, while he has a loyal following in the East Midlands, his clients are located throughout England and Wales. He is joined by solicitor Nathan Mee, who works alongside him to support clients across a wide range of commercial property matters.

Michael Conlon and Anne Fendt, both Directors of Law, are commercial property lawyers based in our London office. Their clients are often involved in high value and complex property transactions.

Transactions the law team have recently been involved in include:

  • Acting for a multi-national company specialising in the provision of oil and gas and maritime services in connection with its landlord and tenant matters relating to its UK property portfolio, including large and complex reorganisations in respect of its premises in both London and the East Midlands
  • Acting on the acquisition of a large mixed use shopping centre, including some residential and office elements.
  • Acting on the acquisition of a working vineyard in Wiltshire.
  • Advising on the purchase of a London commercial property, owned by the client’s business and being acquired by the Directors’ SSAS. Transaction value £1.5M which also involved a loan agreement between the company and the pension scheme for the small amount not covered by the  pension scheme’s existing funds.
