23rd December 2025, as the Government has announced a major change to Agricultural and Business Property Reliefs, we are updating our IHT calculator. Please check back again in early January 2026 when we aim to have the revisions completed. Until then our calculator is out of service.

Have you considered how much Inheritance Tax (“IHT”) could be due on your estate?

This tool calculates whether your estate may be subject to IHT, and how much could be due, if you were to die today. It also estimates the impact of expected legislative changes set to be introduced from 6 April 2026 and 2027.

This considers whether the IHT estimate should be made with availability of a single Nil Rate Band (“NRB”) or with the receipt of a second transferred NRB from a pre-deceased spouse.
