Role Summary

The Risk Manager leads the design, embedding and continuous improvement of the firm’s enterprise risk management (ERM) framework across operational, regulatory, legal, reputational and financial risk. As part of the second line of defence, the role provides independent oversight, constructive challenge and clear reporting to
senior leadership and governance committees, helping the firm deliver professional services confidently within its agreed risk appetite.

This is a broad, firm-wide role suited to a proactive individual who can work autonomously, influence stakeholders at all levels, and balance rigour with commercial pragmatism. The role is central to the firm’s risk maturity journey, supporting the transition to a structured, consistent and business-owned approach to risk management.

This role will suit the candidate who wants the challenge of establishing a risk framework from the ground up and who is ready to be hands-on across the full range of risk activities.
