Role Summary
Working closely with the Director of Marketing and Distribution and the Marketing Assistant, you will play a key role in the delivery of the firm’s marketing plans, developing and implementing a wide variety of marketing activities.
Key Accountabilities
- Organising and managing a programme of WBR hosted events: in-house, external and virtual, from inception to follow up
- Attending WBR hosted events, to ensure smooth execution and acting as representative of the firm
- Working closely with the Director of Marketing & Distribution to prepare various materials to support marketing and business development
- Working with colleagues in technical and team functions to keep up to date all client and internal proposition forms and documentation.
- Helping to execute marketing campaigns via the website, Google ads and social media channels.
- Keeping the website up to date, publishing new content and ensuring SEO objectives are met.
- Helping in relation to social media channels (mainly but not limited to LinkedIn) to schedule and monitor the publishing of content and keeping track of engagement activity on the firm’s social media channels.
- Email marketing – primary user of the firm’s Hub Spot marketing email account, including template creation, management of mailing data, setup and execution of email marketing campaigns and tracking
- Ad hoc marketing support and activities as required to facilitate the smooth running of the department.
- Providing monthly reports to the Director of Marketing & Distribution.
- Comply with the Health & Safety Guidelines as set out in the Health & Safety Management System document.

Skills & Experience Required
- Ability to think creatively and generate new, varied and interesting marketing campaigns. Design experience would be desirable.
- Proactive approach with the ability to research and quickly understand the latest trends and best practices in marketing, to identify potential new marketing ideas and concepts.
- Highly organised, ability to work on your own, great project management skills and excellent time management.
- Excellent command of the English language and communication skills.
- Professional attitude, hardworking, team player.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to manage competing demands.
- Flexibility.
- Sound working knowledge of various applications including WordPress, Hubspot, SEO platform (Semrush), Canva as well as a good working knowledge of Adobe packages and Microsoft Office, particularly Powerpoint. Practical knowledge of LinkedIn and GDPR requirements is also important.
- Car owner/driving license is essential.
- Requirement for some UK travel, including occasional overnight hotel stays.
- Minimum 2-3 years’ relevant marketing experience, ideally within a professional services
- Preferably educated to a degree level in business or marketing related areas preferred or CIM qualification.
